The passing game will get better just relax. The rushing game has been phenomenal so far so it really doesnt matter what play they call....most seem to be working. The game tomorrow will be won in the trenches.

I think the game will be close the first half but I see St. X pulling away and winning by a couple of TDs late in the game. HHS has great speed on offense and can break a long one, but I am not sure if they can grind out a 80 yard drive against the Tiger defense. The HHS "pack 'em in the box" defense may cause some trouble for the St. X running game but it is risky against someone like Vic. I would like to see the Tigers throw the ball more this week to spread things out.

I just hope it doesnt turn into the Vic Anderson show.

We're lucky in having another super back, Deuce Finch, who can make other tems pay if they concentrate too much on Victor.

Yea. I read about him..... The Birds need BALL CONTROL.... milk the clock.

Big Birds fan, but here is the problem, since Dale got here, all he does is come out on every interview each year with the big smile on his face say "this is the best highlands football team ever!" I am sorry, but I have seen some of the best highlands football teams ever and played on one of them. This is a good team with a lot of talent and may possibly have one of the best defenses ever. You can't win games if your quarterback can't throw, and if your special teams can't scream peter, peter, peter, on a short punt. The special teams and kids not being taught fundamental football of falling on a fumble and not trying to be a hero is what beat them last week, it was definitely NOT elder. I was less than impressed with the OHIO "powerhouse." I truly think this could be the best Highlands team ever, but if they can't pass, get someone in there that can, there is more than one quarterback to choose from. Got to have one that can throw a ball further than twenty yards and not have to run for his life while doing it. He just plays on the JV team right now and it pains me to say that. Still believe and love the BIRDS, just venting some frustrations of their very predictable and ONE-DIMENSIONAL offense. The kids only go out there and do what the coaches teach and tell them to do. My hats off to the defense, they held onto the panthers for 4 quarters, wish the offense and special teams could hold the ball. One more question, How many draws in a row did highlands run last week? Thats gotta be some kinda record, Haven't seen that much QB running since Chris Galluchio!!!! If we are not going to use Luke Stein on offense, then let him play defense, please!!:fire:

I'll take Dale's record. I'm pretty sure he knows how to coach and what players should be on the field.

I'm guessing that T is Trinity, but who is D?

I am truly hurt.

D is always for Dixie.:dancingpa

I'm getting pumped about watching this game on TV tomorrow! Two great programs in a great venue! :dancingpa
