I found a listing for Fox Sports Ohio here in Louisville on the Courier-Journal's website and it says the Highlands/St X game will be carried live at 1:00pm on Saturday! Thank goodness the Ohio State/Texas game doesn't come on until 8:00pm that night!

Yep, I'm afraid you're right. And if there has been one area of the state consistently supportive of privates it is NKY. Most St. X fans I know have the utmost respect for the 16 time state champion Bluebirds and look forward to a highly competitive game with a school that plays anyone anywhere anytime!:thumb:

Big Birds fan, but here is the problem, since Dale got here, all he does is come out on every interview each year with the big smile on his face say "this is the best highlands football team ever!" I am sorry, but I have seen some of the best highlands football teams ever and played on one of them. This is a good team with a lot of talent and may possibly have one of the best defenses ever. You can't win games if your quarterback can't throw, and if your special teams can't scream peter, peter, peter, on a short punt. The special teams and kids not being taught fundamental football of falling on a fumble and not trying to be a hero is what beat them last week, it was definitely NOT elder. I was less than impressed with the OHIO "powerhouse." I truly think this could be the best Highlands team ever, but if they can't pass, get someone in there that can, there is more than one quarterback to choose from. Got to have one that can throw a ball further than twenty yards and not have to run for his life while doing it. He just plays on the JV team right now and it pains me to say that. Still believe and love the BIRDS, just venting some frustrations of their very predictable and ONE-DIMENSIONAL offense. The kids only go out there and do what the coaches teach and tell them to do. My hats off to the defense, they held onto the panthers for 4 quarters, wish the offense and special teams could hold the ball. One more question, How many draws in a row did highlands run last week? Thats gotta be some kinda record, Haven't seen that much QB running since Chris Galluchio!!!! If we are not going to use Luke Stein on offense, then let him play defense, please!!:fire:

Easy , Easy...whoa... you gotta calm down there Chuck...!!!! This thread is about HHS / St. X not a rant against the Birds this year. There is a thread on the Highlands/ Elder game.....

This is about HHS St. X, because if they don't change something, the same thing will happen as last week, a game that should have been won, wasn't. thats all i am saying. I still Pick HHS in this one, but it will be decided in the last few minutes and will be by less than 3 points.
