Wireman Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Tim Tebow everyone... @KariVanHorn Tebow signing autographs. Fan has what looks like seizure. Not moving. Tebow puts hand on him and says a prayer. Man breathes. WOW.
Wireman Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 @danielkellybook My friend had a seizure at Mets game and Tebow prayed for him and stayed with him until paramedics arrived #Mets #MLB #ESPN #Tebow
Jim Schue Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I sure that's exactly what happened, because lots of people want it to be so.
Jumper_Dad Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I sure that's exactly what happened, because lots of people want it to be so. Just as much as you want it not to be so :lol2:
Jumper_Dad Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I'd be willing to bet the guy hadn't stopped breathing. I have no doubt that Tebow would have prayed over him and I also don't doubt the reports that the man came to during that time. Was it due to Tebow's prayer, I have no idea and neither does anyone else...but my faith tells me that it is very possible.
PP1 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I am Christian Preacher that respects Tim Tebow for both his public and private life. Whenever I hear stories like this I smile and nod while secretly wanting to roll my eyes. I just don't think these things happen anymore.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Thought I saw that Kaylee Hartung said she had a video of the whole event. I haven't seen the video, but I thought I read that.
spindoc Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I bring people with seizures back to life every so often. You know how? You lay them flat, keep them still and BOOM, they come back to life. However, what's lost in this moronic narrative is that Tebow thought enough of the guy as a human being to stay with him. You can be offended about him praying for him if you want.

Are you saying you're a Christian preacher and you don't believe in the power of prayer anymore? Please forgive me if I misunderstood what you are trying to say.

spindoc Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Perhaps he's talking Lazarus/raising from the dead type stuff. Maybe I misunderstand.

No problem with him praying for the man at all. He didn't have to stay there and comfort the guy, could have just gone on his merry way. He should be commended for that. The story is ruined, IMO, by the ridiculous notion that Tebow brought the guy back to life. That kind of narrative is a perfect example of why so many people, myself included, can't stand hearing about Tebow.
Wireman Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 I saw the video. The man was down and Tebow came over and started praying over him. He just did what any other good, Christian man would do.

Nothing more. And a stupid headline detracts from it.
