I understand that people get tired of him, I really do. But there's a lot of people who get sick of hearing about Bruce Jenner, Kapernick, the latest athlete to come out of the closet, etc that are slammed down our throats every chance the media get. But since Tebow is talking religion and Jesus, he gets chrushed.

Sometimes I wish the media( left and right) would just go away. Maybe then people could actually form an opinion of their own.

That's my point. The media takes a story and makes it so you get so tired of hearing it. Tebow hasn't done anything in 3 years but because he's religious and has a following, he still gets a ton of coverage. Same with Jenner. Because he, she, whatever is doing something that the left love, the media makes it out to be important. In a whole lot of people's eyes, it isn't.

I'm not a huge religious guy. Raised Catholic but not a practicing Catholic. But how can you not like someone like Tim Tebow? "Well he prays in public", how many athletes do you hear say "first I want to thank God"?, "He's so in your face about his faith", how many athletes have crosses tattooed on their bodies?

 

Guy gets a horrible (not even a bum) rap bc he's a winner, a good QB, and he's true to what he believes.

 

I know it sucks we have a decent human that is very faith based, doing stuff that any decent human should be doing on a regular basis. It wouldn't give us anything to talk about if everyone acted in this manner.

I like and respect Tim Tebow. But I don't think he actually brought someone back to life.

I don't see how any Catholic could like him. Tebow thinks the Catholic faith is heresy, so much so he deems it necessary to do "missionary" work in overwhelmingly Catholic Phillippines.
