October 9, 20169 yr I can't really answer within the boundaries you set for the thread, Deuce. I don't fit the demographic. I am not a Trump guy and I am not voting "for" him. I decided a long time ago that I don't have a viable candidate in this election, so I am going to cast my vote against the candidate I want the least. That candidate is Hillary Clinton. So I'm not on the Trump train, but I think maybe I am an investor in the railway.

Based on the fact that he has not been bought like Hillary has. He says whats on his mind. We need immigration control not open borders. I am not in favor of globalization. While I do not love Trump the alternative is much much worse. Did I say much much worse?

I have heard only two reasons from my hard-right friends (and they are legion) that they mention without invoking the name of the she-devil incarnate. He says what he thinks. He ain't Hillary. On second thought, make that one reason. And what scares me about the "he says what he thinks" argument is this. What my friends are REALLY saying is, "He says what we think". They sound like really shallow people, much like some of the supporters for his opposition. Most of the people I know voting for Trump tell me they are doing so because they believe he will lower taxes, he will seriously make an effort to stop illegal immigration (I say good luck with that), they think he will protect the 2nd amendment, he will negotiate better trade deals, they think he will return manufacturing jobs to the US, make the military stronger, keep the US safer, and they think he will come up with a better solution to health care. They also want Trump because they know he'll make better choices for the SC.

October 9, 20169 yr Let me start by saying I am undecided on who I'm voting for. If the election were today, I would either vote 3rd Party or not at all. If you consider yourself a Trump supporter I'd like two things from you: 1.) Tell me, especially after the most recent release of his degrading comments, how you could possibly support this man as the leader of the free world and our POTUS. 2.) Pretend you're on his campaign trail. Convince me on why I should vote for him. The catch? You can't talk about Hillary. This is about Trump and Trump only. Your last sentence sounds like the rules the moderators have used in the debates.
