If Aaron Rodgers or even Tom Brady took a knee with Kap then Kap's protest would gain validity. Guaranteed that there would be a number of people who would say, "damn, if Aaron and Tom are taking a knee then there must be something really going on." Not saying you know anyone who would think like that but there would be thousands of people nationwide who soften their stance as a result of Aaron and Tom joining the cause. Guarantee it.

That whole scenario doesn't make sense though. Neither would do that in the first place but say Aaron Rodgers took a knee to fight for gay rights. You telling me he'd get skewered? He'd be the new face of the LGBT committee before the anthem was over with. As long as he doesn't go Kaitlin Jenner on folks he'd be a hero and applauded for his bravery. And actually going Kaitlin Jenner will win the Arthur Ashe Espy award so there's that. NFL Superstar QB takes a courageous stand for gay rights is what the headlines would say. I can read them now. He'd only get skewered in Chicago and Minnesota. Folks in Chicago would say, "we knew it the whole time." :lol2:

Not a chance. Remember that Kap is getting killed for "being a millionaire who isn't oppressed" and "he's just a back up QB" "why does anyone care what the backup QB has to say". Can't say that about Aaron or Tom.
