September 4, 201610 yr This is probably the worst D line and defense in college football. Southern Miss didn't do anything fancy or innovative, they lined up and blew UK off the football and drove it down their throat. So. Miss wasn't all that big either ....they played football and the Cat's defense had no clue, couldn't stop their grandma. UK has one linebacker that can play .... that's it. All of this blaming this one or that one does nothing. Hell, it's Tubby Smith's fault :lol2: ! I, for one am just sick of hearing for decades now "we're turning the corner, almost there, ready to win, etc., etc., etc. ...Bowl game my ...butt ! 5 wins the most, and that' "iffy". One way to fix U.K. football and that is to put a dome over CWS, put a raised basketball floor where the middle of the field is , add seating where the rest of field is and have the world's largest basketball arena. In Kentucky's horse racing industry analogy : U.K has a brand new Barn (new stadium , training facilities, etc.) with the same ol' Horse :poop: in it. :banghead:
September 4, 201610 yr I guess it's to bad for you that your opinion doesn't matter to people who evaluate players and talent for a living. Both were great high school qbs. One was a qb good enough to be a D1 qb and one was more suited for smaller college football. Both are great accomplishments, and immature to just to put down another because of basically all D1 college coaches not sharing your opinion. Maybe his opinion should matter after all the people in charge of evaulating players at UK and signing them to scholarships dont seem to be doing a very good job at it, but hey their great recruiters.
September 4, 201610 yr As far as Drew Barker goes, he is certainly UK's best option at qb. He more less played a perfect game in the first half. In what was his 3rd career start I believe? As to his turnovers, the first fumble he was clearly trying to get rid of the ball and was in a throwing motion. It's still a turnover and he should have taken the sack, but again he's young and that type of thing even happens to veteran NFL qb's from time to time. The interception; Barker underthrew his man, which is on Barker. I had a good view of the play though and the receiver could have taken an offensive PI penalty which could have prevented the interception as he was turned around watching it all happen in what seemed to be slow motion. I didn't see the second fumble as I was heading out at that point in time, as the game was already decided. Basically, Barker played a really good game and to pick at him for a couple of mistakes that all good qb's make from time to time is absurd considering this is the kids 3rd start (I believe) at this level of play. All the while forgetting that he threw for 287 and 4 td's in the first half. That said, Drew Barker certainly wasn't what cost UK the game last night.

I didn't think so. Drew did not lose a playoff game so do us a favor and grow up and move on. When I said last night you always hated Drew, you claimed you were a Drew fan and all I did was ask for you to supply any post over the past 4 years where you praised him for his play. You came back with zero. That is all we need to know about your obsession with Drew Barker.
