Southern Miss was running the old school Boone County with Shaun Alexander, the lineman would tell opponents where they were running before the snap. Stoops the former Florida State DC had no clue how to stop it. His stat line looked good, he did not look good in the game as a whole.

I'm curious, what makes Jared etc. such an expert and makes you think they know more than anyone else? Elam played horrible. They continued to run right at him and I don't remember his name being called at all the second half. I don't need to watch the game tape, I watched it on TV and saw all I needed to see. Please Clyde don't be one of those that think because someone played the game at a certain level makes them smarter about the game than anyone who didn't play at that level? I will always throw Akili Smith as proof that because you played the game doesn't make you smarter than someone who didn't.
