I haven't looked at the webcast, but did anyone see the offsetting face mask calls on NewCath's Austin Neff's 90 yard fumble return for a TD (that obviously got negated)?

 

Also, on the 4th down pass that gave the Camels a 1st down under 30 seconds to go, from my POV, the receiver ran his route into the defender, plus I don't think that ball was remotely catchable.......yes or no?

The pass interference call toward the end was a bad call, the ball wasn't anywhere near catchable. The announcers on the streaming of the game were all over it too.

That does not apply to high school. It can be called on the complete other side of the field if they so choose. Most officials will use some discretion but if the interference is to the receiver the ball is being thrown to it will be called even if the ball is too high or low to be caught. High School rule.

I want to know what the count was on vulgarities launched from the NCC faithful after the pass interference call. I'm guessing that call didn't sit too well.

 

Congrats Camels on the win and NCC just keep doing what you have been doing the last several years. They always start off the season with tough games and some losses but finish strong. Next week will not be any easier with Belfry.

Incorrect. The announcers I listened to said ..."no doubt, it was the correct call". The livestream I heard I connected to through BGP original post.
