Great High School Football game!

I came away impressed by both teams

I honestly think NewCath is significantly better than last season despite losing all those Starters. That's no easy feat!

Campbell is a very solid 6A team and better than some of these 6A scrubs I have seen.. probably in that 10-15 range

I agree that both teams look good. I wouldn't have ever thought it before the season started either, but Newport Catholic has looked better to me too compared to this point from last season.

NKY 2A district games will be must see football this year IMO. The run to state will be very fun to follow and watch for this class too.

Hoeh came up big in the clutch again! Sandman is a machine! Go Camels!

Gigantic 6A school squeaks by tiny 2A private school.....

A win is a win but I expected more out of a 6a school.

6 turnovers will do that to ya!

I'll go ahead and ask the obvious. What are the differences between last week's win for the Camels and this week's win?

Last week it was a personal foul on the birds, this week it was ncc

Private schools have an advantage. Buddy don't start

When is the last time Camobell Co beat Highlands and NCC in the same year? Wow!

Wasn't 91. I have no clue, early 80s?

Are you being serious or being sarcastic? Bench is a private school guy.

I care

6 turnovers

To me, this almost feels like a loss for the Camels. They came out of the gate completely in control and then invented ways to try and lose the game. After last week's win, I was expecting a strong performance. Didn't happen. Kudos to Mr. Kelly. He is one tough hombre and was the sole reason NCC was able to sustain momentum on offense. The Camels QB has got to protect the football. Where were the short to mid range passes? I scratched my head at some of the play calling at times. Alex Dowds will flat out run you over and will be critical down the stretch in 6A play to keep the Camels in some games. I hope he stays healthy. If you watched this game as a neutral party, you went away feeling like you got your money's worth. If you're a fan of either team, you probably pulled your hair out several times.

i think this is a fair, wonderful question - based on this county family/sports infrastracture for sure - congrats CC !!
