Great win for Cov Cath. After watching the Ryle game I knew they were no slouches. These past two weeks confirm that. This is the year they take down Highlands. You heard it here first.

Unfortunately, you are not first. Many people have predicted this is the year they beat the birds. Of course, every year, they predict it. Eventually, someone has to get it right and we'll here I told you so.

Hasn't Covcath's defense given up over 30pts in all 3 games? So much for the d-line there. But I think Highlands 2 rb's make there rb's better.

They have won two games vs Ohio schools and lost to a KY school who has one of if not the best QBs in the state.

Really nice win Cov Cath! Way to represent the State!

CCH JV won 30-7.

Coldiron had 2 TD receptions. Schuh also had 2 TDs.

JV moves to 3 - 0 on the season. Coldiron is a special athlete in multiple sports.

Really, varsity success is something to be excited about. JV and freshman success on top of that is making me feel good about the program.

Nah! Sorry but recently at St Joes festival as I was working a booth, talked with several CCH people and told them that if there was a year to beat Highlands, it's this year. I'm not saying Highlands is bad or anything, because it's Highlands by the way and they always find a way, but CCH has several players that will play at the next high level of football. Also said if CCH doesn't win this year, then, well not sure when the ever will.

This guy is hoping for a Highlands win, but if CCH wins, this isn't where I heard it first hahaha!

Now back to the thread, great win for CCH. Anytime you beat a Ohio school no matter who it is, it's a good win period.

We can all disect Sycamore and determine where they are in Cincinnati but it's an academic discussion.

This was a really good win for THIS team at THIS time for THIS coach. Really good and I applaud all.

I saw a video of the 4th down TD pass in OT where CCH scored. AJ struggled last year with accuracy. The TD throw was to the ONLY spot it could be for them to be successful. Well done, AJ.

Not sure why you are sorry?

Noted!

WOW, WOW, WOW!! What a difference a year makes!

Get the kids experience and they will only improve. That is awesome CCH!! Those kids that played a lot last year sound like they are paying big dividends!

Excited to see Cov Cath play Columbus St Francis DeSales again this year, great series and I think two very good teams will meet this year!

Is this the year?

From the early start I'd say it has a good chance.

I'm going to go into coach mode and @Theoldguy mode: Only game is the next one.

What is high level football at next level? Zigg may play D1 if he even wants to play next level and I'm assuming AJ has shot at D1. Anyone else I'm missing?

Other than those two, I'm not familiar with the CCH players names. Don't follow them closely. Maybe Best comes to mind. I was just repeating what I was told and from that info, I was assuming CCH's best chances in a long time of beating the Birds. Sorry, should have clarified better.
