St X put one on Highlands last year 45 - 0. Been awhile since something like that has gone down, maybe a full moon.

In 2004 Russell scored 5 TD's in less than the first three minutes of the game against I think it was Estill. Ivan put the starters on the bench shortly after that.

I just wonder though if the Estill people think that was their worst beating or not. :sssh:

Did Henry Clay just give Boyle their worst ever beating? I know the program has been strong at Boyle for a decade, but what about prior to that timeframe.

Not even close. Danville put up over 70 on Boyle County in the late 80's.

How about the entire first two seasons of LCA varsity football (2001 & 2002)?!! They went 3-17 those two years, with many blowouts.

I was on that Frankfort squad...And to think, some of the people around the stadium didn't think we belonged on the field with them...:sssh:

You didn't...you FAR out-classed us! :irked:

Fortunately, time heals all wounds (or at least, most of them ;) ).

We thought it was cool getting to play on Catholic's field...That was the first time any of us had actually played on the field turf.

If I was a st.x fan ( now that is a real heart stopper) I would have to say that it was last years loss to the ROCKS in the State Championship Game. It was not a big blow out but what a crusher for the st. x fans!! just a thought.

Woodford County's was in 1999 against Madison Central it was 67-0.

I don't remember that one unless it was say 1991. Actually the worst beating I remember by Danville (circa 1990) was something like 63-14 in around 1987 and it could have been worse but the Ads called dogs off.

You must have missed my post #13 above.

I could see it being the most disheartening loss they have had. :thumb:

But I think the shelacking they received at the hands of Male in the 2002 playoffs would take the cake there.

Lorenzen and company popped 70 on Covcath one year and it could have been 100 if Mueller wanted to be mean. Is that the worst beating Covcath ever took?
