Scottie never carried a team on his back, even when MJ was flailing at curveballs, but Nique was the focus of the other team every night and he still put up numbers. For many many years he carried that franchise, Scottie never could do that.

W/ the Blazers....bad back, old and he stuck around too many seasons. When comparing Pippen to Wilkins, it depends on what you are looking for. I mean, Pippen's Value over Replacement is 69.6, Nique's is 41.8. Surprisingly, Nique's Offensive Rating is exactly 4 points higher than Pippen's, while Pippen's Defensive Rating is 6 points better than Wilkins? Let's just say what it is, Wilkins was a volume shooter. Pippen has a better FG%, 3%, more rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, really everything but total points.

August 25, 201610 yr Iverson and Garnett absolutely should be on the list. Heck, Iverson is Top 20 (conservatively) all-time, and probably higher. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are HOF'ers, but I wouldn't say either are Top 50 guys. To me, having lived through both eras, I'd say Dominique Wilkins was the Carmelo Anthony of the 80's...not athletically, obviously, in that he was a big-time scorer, couldn't defend (or chose not to) a statue, and didn't elevate his teammates or team. I don't love 46 foot guys, so I'm biased, but I'd have neither at this point in the Top 50. Pippen is hard for me, and I LOATHED him during this career. He is really hard to judge. I think what would push me to remove him is his post-Jordan career that I think exposed both his true attitude, as well as his true ceiling. When Toni Kukoc (incredibly underrated, but another topic) is getting the last shot in close games over Pippen, you have to be questioned. Dirk is a no-doubt Top 50 guy...stop it...it isn't close. Obviously Duncan, Kobe, and several others (LeBron, Durant, etc.) will end up there as well when it is re-done.
