August 26, 201610 yr I think in both Pippen led years they lost in the second round of the playoffs. Jordan only missed a season and a half. He was back for the loss to the Magic in the 94-95 season, so while Pippen was the reason they made the playoffs, that was a Jordan-led team in reality.
