Agreed. I would love to see BG play some of the TN powers. Especially if they won't play any of the GCL schools. I'd love to see a BG/Colerain game or even BG playing in one of those Cross Town Shootout things they do.

If I'm not mistaken, BG already plays Brentwood Academy in Frosh and JV ball now. Shouldn't be a big stretch to play varsity ball against them as well.

Bowling Green would have too much for Colerain this season. Colerain lost a lot of key people and their feeder programs are losing kids to the private schools like Elder and Moeller. The GCL is also down this season, Elder is rebuilding and St. Xavier is as well. Playing Trinity or Male would be better competition the next two or three years than Colerain or those GCL schools.

What are you basing defense on seeing as they haven't played a game yet? 7 on 7?

Have bowling Green schedule mayfield and we can see two of the best programs go head to head.. ;-)

September 2nd should be a good barometer for the Purples.
