247Sports just updated their recruiting rankings and Herron is now rated as the #15 overall player in the class of 2019. Has Trinity ever had a sophomore with this much upside?

They have a good size team both body wise and numbers. The Qb is the top freshman qb in the state, and one of the best in the south east. Good size and a cannon for an arm!

2) 8 schools from KY on the schedule? Is that a record?

I saw most of the scrimmage. I'll say this, there are not many fat guys on Trinity's team. I'm interested in how they will do against McCracken County this Friday. It is difficult for me to gauge how good a team is when they have an intra-squad scrimmage.

It doesn't help that there are less dates to choose from than in the past. District play requires 4 weeks, in-town rivals Male and St. X need 2 more, and I'm pretty sure the TN teams called early about resuming the series down there, reducing Trinity's available weeks to 2.

 

Which is a shame, I'd love for the Rocks to come back up here for a game or two.

Elder is playing Trinity at the JV level. Moeller has a Freshman/JV doubleheader on 10/29 at Trinity. Playing in Lexington will be as close as Trinity's varsity gets to Cincy or northern Kentucky. The Freshman do play at Highlands on 8/20.

Since the McCracken scrimmage is a pay $5.00 at the gate or athletic department game, our season tickets won't even be needed until the Brentwood game. I was told they were being sent out Monday.
