Since the McCracken scrimmage is a pay $5.00 at the gate or athletic department game, our season tickets won't even be needed until the Brentwood game. I was told they were being sent out Monday.

49-7 was all varsity. JVs didn't play until after 3 quarters and score wasn't kept.

The JV Rocks added another two touchdowns in the "4th Q". McCracken did not score again.

Were you surprised McCracken came in with QBs dressed in yellow(don't hit me) jerseys? Do we owe them a return trip next season or was this a one and done?

The scrimmage was played with live kickoffs, punts, extra points.....real game conditions with the refs in mid-season form! Blackburn will get it done at QB. Ellison will be a beast at WR/TE. Hated McDuffie, Cardosi and Baron Hoffman missed. I understand they will play Friday at Ensworth. Moore is confident he will get his transfer approved. Herron is the real deal at DE.

I agree, THS. Ellison is a shifty receiver. Also thought Justin Ritchie played very good pass defense at corner. McCracken's QB--Cash Jones, I think--has a very good arm. I also liked the fact that T's kickoffs consistently made the endzone for touchbacks. That has not been the case recently. T made some mistakes in coverage but hopefully they will be corrected.

No. It was agreed upon by both coaches that the QB was only live if he crossed the LOS on a run. We've had our QB in a different jersey in past scrimmages.

I was very impressed with the OL. This was a weakness for the Rocks last year and looks to be a strength this year. Blackburn had all day to throw on most pass plays. I agree tcjkbt, it was nice to see those kickoffs going in the endzone. Gentleman sitting by me said Beatty had told him that this team is in the best physical shape vs any other team he has had at Trinity.
