July 19, 201610 yr I don't post in this Forum often (ever), but think the speech piece is interesting. When Matt Lauer interviewed The Donald and his wife on their jet pre-convention, there was an awkward moment when Matt asked her about her speech. She went out of her way to say she wrote it "with a little help", but it was obvious that she couldn't recall much of it, yet was scheduled to give it to Tens of Millions of people a few hours later. Follow that up with this plagiarizing scandal...not a good look. Oh well, Trump winning or losing this election will have zero to do with her speech, her awkward interview, or the 1st night of the RNC...but certainly gives everyone plenty to get worked up over. Side-note: I thought Giulani was really good last night.

Squelching the request for a roll call vote that would have highlighted just how much opposition that candidate Trump faces in his own party. Dissing the governor of the host state. Cribbing the speech. If you can't run your own convention without gaffes like these, how are you going to convince Democrat and Independent voters (he's already on record saying he doesn't need Republican unity) that you can run the country?
