R's reportedly have issues with minorities and women. You have a speaker accuse President Obama of being a Muslim (what year are we in BTW?) and you have another speaker when asked if he regrets referring to HRC in one of the most vile pejoratives possible to a female he says "nope - I stand by it." The only thing missing is someone saying the Mexicans that come into the US are rapists.... Who is the strategist behind this?

This may just be a first night strategy to whip the room into a frenzy. Typical convention strategy suggests optimism and hopefulness about the future under the nominee's administration. That's what we remember about the great convention speeches: Reagan in 76, Obama in 2004, etc.
