Hell, the conspiracy guy in me thinks it was the speech writer's intent to sabotage but who knows, that person dropped the ball and made the woman into a social media joke now. I feel sorry for her. What this has to do with your theory about goofing up treaties, I don't know. I heard this same jibberish 8 years ago about your guy Barry. If I were the PR Director for HRC I would load her lips with "I thought it was a very nice speech by Mrs. Trump." If asked about it being similar to Mrs Obama's : "I've heard people talk about that but it's not really important to me." Done.

Do the conventions normally have different themes each day? Not that I care for "Make America Great Again," I do like each day spinning off that phrase.

Why wouldn't I believe her? She's a sharp gal -- speaks four languages. Just because English isn't Melania's first language doesn't mean she's not capable of crafting a crackerjack speech.

The speech mess is an indictment of Trump's shoddy team. If his Keystone Kops can't doublecheck a throw-away speech given by his wife, why should the American public trust his team to rework trade agreements with China and Mexico? Melania is just a pawn in this controversy. This is why smart politicians often hire a few people from the other side.
