I didn't say she wasn't. But you can't come up in here spouting things like "integrity" and "honror a pledge" and crap, and then say you support Trump. This thread is about the RNC. There will be plenty of time to take shots at HRC next week. Don't play diversionary tactics to deflect people from looking at the Trump/Pence ticket. If he (Trump) can throw shade at Cruz and his family and all are OK with it, then by God, I'm taking the gloves off and stating what I think about him without reservation.

I watched Tuesday on "Make America Work Again" and all I heard was anti-HRC stuff. Did I miss the part where they talked about what President Trump would do?

Originally, my opinion was that Cruz did the right thing and that I wouldn't support someone who said those things about my father or spouse, regardless of a pledge. However, my opinions now is that he should have just declined to speak.

 

Exactly ... he should have followed Kasich's lead. This move by Cruz is much worse than Kasich not appearing.

I think Trump will be gold tonight.

 

I also don't think Trump is upset by ANY of the events that have taken place this week. It's good TV and that's what he digs.

Cruz sealed his fate tonight. Done.

 

His political career. He was basically booed off. Read the rest on CNN. After tonight I would not vote for him for dog catcher. These candidates all pledged to support whoever won the nomination. The ones who have not are liars. The deserve nothing. And I would say the same about Trump if the roles were reversed.

 

He didn't honor his pledge, that should be enough to show he wouldn't honor his word in anything else. He should be done.

 

Cruz signed off last night. He is done as a viable candidate in the Republican party.

 

He really couldn't win prior to the speech and committed career suicide last night.

 

First: Politics is not for the faint of heart of thin of skin. Things are said during election / selection lead ups that are brutal individually. If you wear your personal feelings on your sleeve, you won't make it.

 

Second: Cruz signed his name, along with a number of others, to include Trump, that said he would support the nominee, even if it wasn't him. By doing what he did, he looks weak and self serving.

 

Third: Yes, I would keep my word, because it's stronger than election / selection rhetoric.

 

Cruz wanted / wants to be the leader of the free world. If he can't take a few shots to the body and defend himself against a politician within the US, I don't want him up against some of the baddest dudes in the world.

 

Overall weak performance by Cruz, I expected better out of him. I think he may have sealed the deal for himself. Huge gamble on his part.

 

Had Trump lost and pulled that stunt at the Cruz convention I'd be saying the same thing.

 

In a nut shell Cruz proved what a career politician acts like last night. Cruz like so many others on both sides, need to quit get a real job and quit living off me.
