I can hardly wait. Painter and his friends have the field looking good. Everything is ready.

Looking forward to the tailgate party – I’m sure Edgle & Pat will be there early firing up the grills.

Looking forward to some football.

Me too GrayBeard, I am pretty excited about this game, and I honestly think it will be a fight to the end. I am hoping for a Pond Creek victory though.

Belfry - 21

Ashland - 14

Go Bucs... :fight:

LRCW: You’re breaking an old man’s heart - he's gone to college and his family misses him.

And so do his co-workers, well atleast some of them.

and what might they be, GIAT?:sssh:

I will post it about 6:00 when I get off work. I dont want to give Belfry any heads up.....hope you understand.

Nope.. I don't understand at all..I think it is quite unfair that you wont tell me..Like me of all people would go and tell someone:lol:

But we DO NOT miss the guitar!!

Thanks GIAT, I was trying to be sarcastic. But I appreciate the PM.:thumb:

IMO it is not the option that kills you out of Belfry's wishbone. It is the Belly and Lead off tackle plays that just keep pounding at you. Belfry is usually very patient and will just wear a team down.

You could not be any more right. Those 2 plays are the bread and butter of Phillip Haywood.

And so do the Tomcats and all their fans.

:thumb: So very true.

In fact, Haywood has moved away from the option over the past few years. Probably due to the overall personnel at the QB position. However, I look for him to bring it back...as long as the JR. QB settles down. The Preston kid has the skills...he may need to shake the nerves a little bit.

Belfry 24 Ashland 21

The Belfry brand of football will be too much for this Tomcat team:

Belfry 24

Ashland 7

Not only tomcat fans miss watching them play, I would think that all h.s. football fans in this area miss them. Those were two special players and young men.

Darrell Mahan will start at QB tonight for Ashland.
