June 24, 201610 yr This makes little to no sense. Let's assume you're right, he plays 4 seasons and is out of the league after that. He'll have an estimated earnings of $4,883,856.50. At 23 years old, you think he'll just quit playing basketball? Ridiculous. Worst case scenario, he'd go overseas and make a couple hundred K a year for the foreseeable future. What a bum.... Over 60% of NBA players are broke 5 years after their nba careers are over. I don't see much of any of an NBA career for Skal so that's the point I'm making. #'s don't lie, ball don't lie.

June 26, 201610 yr This draft class IMO wasn't good, Celtics IMO would've been better off with a straight flip of their #3 pick for Nerlens. They'll likely be picking there again next season too, because I think they have the right to swap picks with Brooklyn who is terrible and I am almost positive the next class is loaded or at least a lot better than this one. Jaylen Brown could be a stud, but Nerlens has already showed what he can do and Boston needs a rim protector; and they'd have next years likely high pick in a better class.

June 26, 201610 yr To be fair they wouldn't give up LaVine AND the 5th overall pick. The Wolves would do the deal if they didn't have to give up the pick. True but it is still saying something that they wouldn't give up LaVine. Most people I know would have taken that trade of LaVine/#5 for Butler without blinking.
