June 17, 201610 yr Honestly, the police and everyone who is worried now are overreacting. This was an isolated incident that was probably a long time coming for these two. They have been friends for a long time. I think they even shared an apartment or something for awhile so it was just a personal beef that escalated to the point of no return. Nothing to see here; move along. Never been a fight in the pub either? Sweep it under the carpet. It will go away.:lol2:
June 17, 201610 yr Thanks, that's what I thought. Lost a lot of hair there in the day.... ....as for you. I was trying to do you a solid since you opine for the apparent good ole days of your youth, running the streets, assaulting young children on the street and waxing poetically about your old hometown. It was just a nice gesture on my part, but as everyone can see, you don't accept niceties from people....just go back to your breastfeeding, I won't bother you anymore.... @BigVMan23 Cool story bro. Something about a donut from an old barber shop just doesn't appeal to me.
June 17, 201610 yr Cool story bro. Something about a donut from an old barber shop just doesn't appeal to me. Well it was Smitty's so it wouldn't hold the same nostalgic appeal to a chick...but I understand
June 17, 201610 yr Where do the Moyer District folks fit in this North vs South battle? In the middle.
June 17, 201610 yr Where do the Moyer District folks fit in this North vs South battle? You mean Southeast Newport?:lol2:
June 17, 201610 yr Back to the story....apparently Hank Shouse has been fighting some demons from his tours in Iraq and Afghanastan. I read on FB from one of his friends that he saw some pretty heinous stuff over there and killed a lot of people. My guess is post traumatic stress will be a part of his defense. It's ashame our veterans come back a mess and have a tough time coping with society. Prayers go out to the Smith family, from what I understand he was a father and grandfather.
June 18, 201610 yr Based on what side of the street Moyer is on, I'd say it's north. I went to Moyer and grew up in a subdivision on side streets behind the old Wiedeman Bakery. I was neutral...got along with everybody! I was like Sweden...neutral...
June 18, 201610 yr Word as it the argument that brought about this tragedy was over who should have been the 9th Region Softball Player and Coach of the Year.
