June 17, 201610 yr Completely changed. The burgers are extremely good. Only downfall is going to watch Bengals games there and some lady that is obnoxious as it gets. Sounds like someone my wife would get along with very nicely.
June 17, 201610 yr Back in '81 as I was hanging out with my pops at the Old Midway Cafe I decided to walk to the Convenient store minding my own business and was attacked by a gang of Southies in front of the furniture store, they took my money, beat the crap out of me. That's how I know about The Southies. Was that you? Damn, I'm sorry!
June 17, 201610 yr Now I feel like a second class citizen. My parents have lived on the southside forever. Yes and my wife's Grandmother lives back behind your parents at the end of their street. Your point! Tower place is Tower Place and one of the Nicer streets in Town but lets not be too naive that there is some much needed Improvements needed with the Apartment living in that Stretch of S Ft Thomas that I'm speaking. Agree? It has nothing to do with where your parents reside.....
June 17, 201610 yr Ft. Thomas doesn't have enough kids who want all day kindergarten to have one at every elementary schools, so they tend to have it at one or two of the schools and allow kids from the other school(s) to attend. Last year there were not enough at Johnson (north end school), but they allowed those kids to attend all day kinder at Woodfill (south end school). That made the butts pucker of some of the Johnson parents. At the time I commented nothing screams Ft. Thomas more than - "I don't want my kid going to Woodfill". :jump:

They did clean up the apartments at Grand and South Ave which was a start.
June 17, 201610 yr I can't believe there wasn't more pull to get Johnson the new school before Woodfill and now Moyer. I was sitting in the LPC School meeting and I heard Firsthand that if Johnson would of had Portable Trailers in the Front yard like the High School did roughly 10 years ago, then Johnson would of Trumped Moyer! But since they didn't the State deemed Moyer in worse shape. Believe me, as soon as Moyer is finished you watch how quickly Johnson gets a New school. My son won't see it but at at least our Middle & High Schools are finally Finished.

But it sure does help. And in happy Fort news, Top That Donut and Ice Cream opened up in the middle of town today. My kids hit it up this morning.

Johnson screamed about moving kids to Moyer and Moyer screamed about moving kids to Woodfill. Quite entertaining meetings.
June 17, 201610 yr Smitty's old Barber Shop in the Center of Town Thanks, that's what I thought. Lost a lot of hair there in the day.... What are you asking me for. I don't live there. ....as for you. I was trying to do you a solid since you opine for the apparent good ole days of your youth, running the streets, assaulting young children on the street and waxing poetically about your old hometown. It was just a nice gesture on my part, but as everyone can see, you don't accept niceties from people....just go back to your breastfeeding, I won't bother you anymore.... @BigVMan23
