June 13, 201610 yr I hope it doesn't matter, but losing Green is a huge loss, everyone. He is the jet fuel and spark plug of the team and the Warriors' best defender. Part of the game is getting in LeBron's head. Green is a huge component of that. LeBron has to be at ease knowing he doesn't have to compete against him tomorrow night.
June 13, 201610 yr Draymond did this to himself. Though unlikely, this does at least make it more possible for the Cavs to come back. Steal game 5, take game 6 at home for the chance to win game 7. Not likely, but more possible that having to beat a Warriors team at full strength for 3 games. If it gets to game 7, LeBron has historically been very good in that kind of game (ironically). Definitely not likely, but possible.
June 13, 201610 yr This series will go 7 now. The odds are still seriously stacked against Cleveland but if the season gets extended I don't think many will be upset.
June 13, 201610 yr And when the Warriors win tomorrow is it still rigged? It would be a red flag for me.

June 13, 201610 yr I don't like the technical, flagrant, or suspension. Too much emphasis has been placed on the officiating throughout the playoffs.
June 13, 201610 yr Iggy will still be guarding him. And Iggy is in his head, but Draymond has an uncanny ability to challenge anyone coming towards the rim without fouling. And he allows the Warriors to switch on defense since he can guard all 5 positions. He leads the team in assists and rebounds. He is a second team all NBA player... It is a much bigger loss than some are making it seem.
June 13, 201610 yr I would argue that Iggy is as good if not better than Draymond on the defensive end.

June 13, 201610 yr A 9th region official would foul out the entire rosters of both teams before halftime. NBA officiating is a joke. It's worse than the old Big East.

I don't see this as an advantage to Lebron since Iggy will be on the floor more. It hurts the Warriors but they beat the Thunder with Green being non-existent the whole series. I don't see them losing tonight just because Green has emotional issues.
June 13, 201610 yr I would argue that Iggy is as good if not better than Draymond on the defensive end. Lebron's offensive rating is lowest with Iggy guarding him.
