June 14, 201610 yr Dray mind knew the rules. He's flirted with a suspension for the last 6 games or so. He did it to himself. It would have been wrong of th NBA not to follow through because this is the Finals. But it is rigged!!!!!!

June 14, 201610 yr It probably didn't matter if Draymond played, but people are neglecting the intangible effect he has for Golden State. When Kyrie and LeBron are going off, Draymond would be the one in his teammates faces if the game starts to slip. Or the one to commit the flagrant foul at the worst time.
June 14, 201610 yr LeBron didn't know what he was doing, he was trying to get back into play. LeBron literally lost his cool and I've never saw him like that on a basketball court. Hoping it goes 7 and the Cavs pull it out Now maybe LeBron didn't know Draymond would retaliate how he did, but he knew exactly what he was doing going over the top of him. Where LeBron "won the battle" was in the post-game comments when he opined about the word exchange that crossed the line. Nothing you generally see a player do, especially when the comment was bad, but nothing you probably don't hear 10 times during every game. His post-game remarks were taken into account before handing down the suspension.

The replays were plain as day as to what went down.

That is what I was thinking and what I don't like about the retroactive ruling. What if this was late in a game and said foul should have fouled out a LeBron or Draymond? That can change an outcome of a game. The retroactive ruling looks silly in that sense.

June 14, 201610 yr Yeah that suspension made LeBron and Kyrie's jumper go off last night. Cleveland beat the team with Draymond in the lineup by 30 I think. NBA suspended Draymond because he violated a rule, and he shouldn't have been anywhere close to that total of flagrant points or whatever they call it. He's too good of a player. Things happen in basketball yes, but they put the rule in place to make sure it doesn't happen too much. He should have been suspended in the conference finals. The difference here is that this situation involves LeBron and everyone acts like the NBA is doing it for him. Nobody would have said a thing other than he deserved it if he was suspended against OKC.
