Campbell County 2016/2017

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Campbell County? Remember, please be constructive.

Camels return 3 starters in Hegyi, Bertsch & Clos. I look for Day, Geiman, Teegarden and some Sophs to take a step forward.

Heygi is a legit 10th Region POY candidate. I don't know much about the other kids but they are well coached and have a large student body to pick from.

My pick to win the 10th. Haven't seen anyone to compare to them in summer ball.

Camels will be good. More guard-oriented with Wilson graduation, but still good. One of the top 2-3 teams in the 10th.

From what I have seen I would put Pendleton Co. and Scott ahead of Campbell atleast as far as summer ball goes.

this. The kid is a legit talent. Camels will be Top 3 to start the season.

I was teasing Hegyi about never missing a shot in the MC team camp. He is TOUGH!

Cole is definitely the difference maker. CC is a possible regional winner with him. There's no question everything changes as far as style of play. Wilson leaves and there is no way things don't change. Cole will have to step up, and he's ready for it. it's going to be a great year.

I can't speak for Scott but Campbell has beaten Pendelton both times they played this summer so far.

Look for some extensive contributions from the soph class. They are all nice players who have played a ton of AAU ball so they are used to the physicality and Varsity game speed.

Sounds like the Camels are the favorite.

Scott beat Campbell last week, however Scott was without the Ohmer brothers and a few others and Campbell was without Hegyi and a few others.

I've seen all three teams play. I'd have to say Scott has my pick to win, camels with second and PC is third

Agree with those top 2, but not feeling all the top 3 love on a lot of threads for PC. Got them around 8th or 9th. Montgomery,Mason,Bracken, Paris, Bpurbon and possibly Brossart are above them, at least at the beginning. They have to have some JV guys from last year and a point emerge to free Allen up to get his.
