A local newspaper, The Record Searchlight, identified the man Mr. Trump pointed to as Gregory Cheadle, a Republican running for a congressional seat from the area. Mr. Cheadle said he had not taken offense and was happy to have been noticed.

This means absolutely nothing. It doesn't push the Left's agenda.

The man can say anything he wants and it won't hurt him a bit.

We will be royally screwed come November 9th.

Fixed that for you.

Happy to see the Republican running for a congressional seat was not offended by another Trump classic. Of course I didn't expect him to express outrage since it may offend his anti PC base.

Leave out the word 'friend' and get fried by the tabloid newspaper.

Its obvious what happened in context.

The most offensive word out of Trump's mouth this time was "my" -- "my African-American ..." Sounds like a plantation owner in the 1850s.

Yet the Speaker of the House says Trump is whom he's voting for in November. Yep, the former leader of Trump University is definitely the person to lead the free world.

So this slip of the tongue is more egregious the Obama's classic 57 states gem?

Trump tweets about everything.

Where is the tweet saying I misspoke and forgot the word "friend"?

He obviously hasn't heard from our liberal friends, they'll tell him when he's offended.

Does that include lying to dead victims mothers? Glad you liberals have higher more standards than the rest of us.

I'm actually a Republican - but thanks for assuming I like everyone else who finds Trump an appalling option don't have brains. I hope when the curtain closes you think long and hard about what it would mean for that man to be our president, commander and chief, and lead voice in global affairs.

We would be screwed.

The old white woman from the all-white Chicago neighborhood has only one African-American on her senior staff. And her title should have the P-word in it since he role is for African-American outreach.
