Dixie is definetly the favorite but the way 4a is looking this year, its wide open. SK, Ryle, and Boone are all three tough teams and I wouldn't count Holmes out either.

 

 

But as for the game, I think if Dixie plays like they did Friday, they could be in for a long night. I'll be pulling for the Colonels but I have to take B-Wood in this one.

I predict Bankemper will have his way and go 22 carries 185 yrds and 3 td's.

That's a good point, didn't see the HHS/Bwood scrimmage but I heard the Tigers were not even close to the Birds, likewise DH laid an egg on Friday night. I think HHS is just that much better than anyone else in NKY, if DH is as good as I think they are they should win by 10+.

Beechwoods first game of the season and also under new head coach. Colonels comming off a bad loss Vs the team from Ft Tohmas. Its hard for me to pick. Also the tigers have a new QB this season but i would not be to worried about that. I'm taking the tigers in 24-17 W.

Tough to call...but I know the boys from DH were "embarassed" by their game on friday. It was very quiet back at the school lot as they all left. Lots of talk of what they should have done differently. I know they are a great team but it doesn't seem like there is the heart that there was last year. Hope it turns and our "TEAM" shows up! I still pick DH, I am a fan to the end!

You cant base that on just a scrimmage game. I don't know if BW could beat HHS this year in a regular game, but don't look too much into that. Last year BW beat HHS in the scrimmage, but I don't think they could have beat them during the season.

Lot of reasons to take Beechwood, but I'm going with a hunch and going the other way:

 

Dixie by 7-10.

In all fairness, Highlands whooped up on us pretty badly during our scrimmage. Hopefully, this means they are going to have a tremendous team and NOT that Beechwood or Dixie are lacking.

 

I, for one am very glad to see these 2 teams playing against each other. Can't wait!
