In some circumstance I have no problem with the DP for it...even though I'm not as pro DP as I used to be, rapist can drop in with murderers as far as I'm concerned.

I figured GetSlow being an attorney would have heard of Frank Hadadd but I didn't know if he knew of Hadadd's reputation of taking rock solid evidence proving guilt and just beating it up adding all kinds of doubt to it and also his ability to mold the opinions of juries to whatever he wanted them to be. His success of getting people guilty as can be off the hook was legendary.

 

His reputation eventually backfired on him towards the end of his career when the assumption of the public was if you hired Frank Hadadd as your defense attorney, you were obviously guilty.

Sorry. I keep forgetting how young some people on here may be. Every time I hear the words "citizen's arrest", I have Gomer Pyle on repeat in my head yelling at Barney Fife.

Disagree. The jury is what is crucial in this one. Only takes one to hang the jury.

A husband and wife were in their car and someone came up to the car and shot the husband. The wife grabbed his gun and got out of the car and shot warning shots up in the air to scare him away. The shots were not aimed at anyone. She was charged and jailed for unlawful discharge (or something along those lines). Husband , I think, ended up dying.
