The Bishops' Bowl

Sponsored by Tonini Church Supply

at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium

Unsure of Opponents but idea is that Trinity and St. X would both play against top Kentucky or out-of-state Catholic schools in a back-to-back. Cov Cath, Indianapolis Cathedral, Cincy St. X, Elder, Moeller, etc. Joint invocation before each game by Archbishop Kurtz of Louisville and the bishop of wherever the other school is from.

If we wanted to get real crazy, we could get either Holy Cross or DeSales involved for a triple header that day.

I like it! If I was on your game selection committee, LOL, I would say Beechwood vs Mayfield, and Belfry vs Highlands.

Nothing major, but something we used to do over towards my way was the Teco Coal Bowl....Teco Coal is out of existence now. We have had some big name programs come and compete, such as Pikeville, Paintsville, and Sheldon Clark. This bowl game is a KY vs. VA interstate bowl. We have also done the same format under the "Breaks Interstate Bowl"

It would be a triple header on week 0.
