Trevon will play WR and Safety for Coach B and the football Titans. He has to have 10 days of practice on field before he can play in a contest. Expect to see him week 5, possibly week 4.

 

I also agree that he will graduate from Mercer Co. I expect to him to grow into a leader for the basketball team this year with his voice and actions. Should be exciting to watch him in both sports!!

To address what I know you take issue with, are you saying this years team will be better than last? I really don't think it will, but I would love to see it. And the "walking the halls" bit was in response to an earlier thread saying that Oak Hill was a possibility for Trevon.

 

I really enjoy getting on BGP and seeing what everyone thinks about the things that I'm interested in, and sometimes I will say things just to prevoke a response, so some of that I will admit is a little "silly".

To answer your question, not only do I not think this year's team will not be as good as last year's team, I think that statement is "silly." They lost 2 all-state and one honorable mention all state players. They lost eight of the nine players that logged any meaningful varsity minutes. And they lost one of the top coaches in the state after school started. All from a team that was rated as high as #1 and lost 2 games on the year.

 

So you feel that me saying that your comments are "silly" is an attack on your character? It's not. It's a statement regarding your thoughts about sports, plain and simple. Don't see how that can be equated to anything related to a person's character.

I'm a little out of practice @PurplePride92 but if he is new to the team, basically he has to follow the same rules they do right after dead period.

 

Beginning July 10th, they can go helmets only

July 22nd, they can go helmets, shoulder pads & shorts

August 1st, practice can be in full gear for anyone that has had 3

practices in shells.

 

Since teams are in full swing now, M/T/W/Th will be days he can get counted towards his acclimation time, it will take him nearly 3 weeks to get fully cleared (unless they are bringing the team in on Sat/Sun for walkthru kind of practices & follow this same protocol)

I don't think they are related but I am not 100% sure about that. If they are related it is distant. I've known Trevon since he was 6 years old and he has a whole lot of family in this area and I have never heard Mason mentioned as family. Doesn't mean they aren't related though. It is possible.

Looks like Trevon has been having a good weekend in Atlanta. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up more offers in the coming weeks.
