Axl fronting ACDC wins over critics?

I think they should have put AXL in a Hoveround!

I think it sounds like Guns N Roses doing covers of AC/DC. Hate it.

If it was GnR doing covers, the guitar playing would be better...Slash>Angus

Just not the same.

:puke:

Awful

Axl is sooooooooo painful to listen to. He's not at all an acceptable replacement. I can't bear to listen to him sing one song much less an entire concert.

I still think that Lzzy Hale of Halestorm would've been a much more interesting choice. I can totally see the tons of testosterone driven males in the audience being totally charged up over a hot rockin' chick kickin' butt and nailing these songs with fierce screamin' precision.

I like her but I can't imagine a woman as lead singer of a group known for songs such as "Givin' the Dog a Bone", "Beating Around the Bush", "Let Me Put My Love Into You", etc... It's just not the same delivery.

Aside from her having solid pipes and great stage strut, the crazy irony of her singing such songs is all the more reason for her to be a great choice. In the song that I've provided she's singing "Shoot to Thrill" which is a tune totally from a man's perspective, and she knocks it out of the park.

Axl squealing like a pained cat sitting in a chair has to stop. AC/DC is missing on a great opportunity of making it real interesting by having a hot girl who can command the stage. She nails it even better than an aging Brian Johnson and probably better than what most guy singers can.

Sounds like Sam Kinison.

Sounded like a train wreck to me.

Then it was definitely authentic Axl Rose.

Listened to 30 seconds of that.......I'd rather listen to Country or Rap music than have to endure that, good Lord that was simply AWFUL!!!!

I like just about any music but that sounded horrible.

I was going to say it sounds like Axl hurt himself, and I guess it looks like that too.

I don't know how anyone could have thought that was going to be a good idea. Axl ain't cool enough to sing with AC/DC and his voice isn't going to last more than a few concerts.

Can't blame Axl, though. It's a tough gig for anybody to come in and fill Brian Johnson's shoes.
