May 2, 201610 yr Polls mean very little right now. Most of us are still deciding which of the two evils to choose. I agree. Also, I think polls are going to have less reliability in this coming election than any in recent times. Voter disgust with Washington DC is going to skew the general election just like it has the primaries.

There are alot of people going to pull the lever for Trump in the privacy of the voting booth who would never admit it. May 2, 201610 yr I followed some of the coverage of Hillary on her visit to Ashland. Her solution to rural poverty is quite naturally, a $30 billion government handout!!!! No mention of economic development, no mention of promoting job growth. I listened to Chelsea in Louisville talk about the heroin epidemic. Her position was to deal with it by funding treatment and rehab. Like that has been effective for the last 30 years? How about securing the border so it makes it more difficult to get drugs into the country?

Two left-leaning Democratic pollsters top the list: Public Policy Polling, which nailed the election prediction if Florida goes for Obama, and the Daily Kos/SEIU/PPP poll, a weekly tracking poll. May 2, 201610 yr Trump's biggest issue is the Electoral Map...just looking at it today, it's hard to see a path for him to win the election, even if he won the popular vote. And demographics. Between the minority voters and female voters he has created a huge obstacle to overcome. To have a chance to win he has to beat Ronald Reagan's record for highest percentage of white votes, which he actually might have a chance at if he hadn't alienated so many women. The other thing he needs to hope for is a low turnout and that is unlikely with him as a candidate.

NY, NJ, PA CT & MD will be competitive. At the very least, Hillary will have to spend resources on states that have been blue for generations. This election is going to blow up the traditional red state blue state map. Trump is the strongest GOP candidate since Reagan, who by the way, did not do poorly having a background in entertainment.

Trump needs Bill Clinton to say or do something really stupid if he wants to win, which could happen when Trump starts mudslinging toward her.
