Highlands versus Elder tickets!

Featured Replies

A season pass is $30 and no all tickets for the Elder game are pre-sale. There will not be tickets sold the day of the game at the gate.

No, I mean can I buy a season pass at the window tonight????

I was asked that last night. I'm don't know. I've never bought a ticket at the window because I always get a pass.

Yes

Do I need a ticket to get in?:D

If you start off the way you did last year with the cannon then maybe yeah........:D :D

Is the game really going to be at Highlands? Saw the schedule in the paper today. If the game was played somewhere that could hold 10,000 people at $10 each, that's $100,000. I guess Highlands can afford to leave a lot of money on the table. For my next question? If it's really at Highlands, what are the chances of anyone getting a ticket?

I know they aren't moving the game, but it seems like if they did, Highlands would have to pay a rental fee of some kind. Overselling their home field and collecting ALL of the money seems like the best plan. Good marketing strategy by the good folks in Fort Thomas!

I talked to the lady who works in the bookstore tonight and she said there isn't many season passes left. Needing a pass to get into the Elder game is not a bad idea for the school. Now they have sold a ticket to all of the home games regardless if that individual goes to another home game or not. We might never see some of these people at a game this year again, but the school has their money though.:thumb:

I saw a stack of passes in the ticket window that the lady was selling.

After seeing the comdition of the school last night, with construction issues and fences everywhere, this could be messy. A suggestion might be to have a parking shuttle set up ahead of time. The only real big area for parking at the school may be "death valley" and I doubt if that will be a consideration. Elder will bring the people and 2000 has a breakdown of over 500 cars if you average 4 per vehicle. Elder should have an idea as they sit in a heavily populated area of Cincy. HHS may need to look strongly at this or property owners could prosper at charging $10 a car for yard parking. It will be interesting. On a side note, I noticed the band was moved to the end zone. This probably being done for this game as to maz out seating in the main stands. For years th band section has been at a 50% capacity and have heard many a complaint to make it a smaller section.

Hope all goes well and yes season passes are available at the gate.

The band in the end zone is GENIUS! No more double bounce off of the buildings...you can actually tell what they are playing when they face the fans from over there.

Could anyone tell what the PA announcer was saying? I could tell he was talking, but the sound was so bad it was unintelligble to me.

Yes, the PA announcer was mumbling and couldnt be heard. I think that is a joke.... part of being at a High school football game and the experience is to actually hear the announcer and who was in on the tackle or who ran the ball. I spent half the night trying to go back and forth from the program to the field. PUMP UP THE VOLUME ALREADY.....

For the record.... the Canon got me again at the opening of the game.... I keep saying I am going to be ready for that and I know one day I am going to keel over from that.

The school is in absolute shambles. I know there is ongoing construction, but the facade of the buildings are terrible. The gym has boards over the windows and a $7 window air conditioner dripping water everywhere. The overall condition in the front of the school is a poor reflection on the city. Get it cleaned up or just have a year of away games.
