For the record.... the Canon got me again at the opening of the game.... I keep saying I am going to be ready for that and I know one day I am going to keel over from that.

Was it me, or did they have a little extra ammo in the cannon last night? Maybe it was just the climatic conditions or something. At one point, I swear I saw a flame shoot out of thereall the way to about mid-field.

And they did get one nice smoke ring -- always a crowd pleaser!

The school is in absolute shambles. I know there is ongoing construction, but the facade of the buildings are terrible. The gym has boards over the windows and a $7 window air conditioner dripping water everywhere. The overall condition in the front of the school is a poor reflection on the city. Get it cleaned up or just have a year of away games.
They have to build the new school sometime. They can't stop everything and make it look nice just for the visitors. When it's finished, all the inconveniences will be worthwhile.

Freethinker... you just don't snap your fingers and new improvements appear. Are you a homeowner? Have you ever remodeled anything? Trust me, it has to get worse before it can get better. In the end the improvements will prove its worth and Ft. Thomas kids will have better facilities to improve their already outstanding test scores and achievements.

However, I do agree... It does look like a bomb went off in there when you drive by.

That's the only thing that's bad about the new construction. It's kind of sad to think that the halls and classes you knew as a student are no longer there.

But that's the cost of progress.

Yes, the PA announcer was mumbling and couldnt be heard. I think that is a joke.... part of being at a High school football game and the experience is to actually hear the announcer and who was in on the tackle or who ran the ball. I spent half the night trying to go back and forth from the program to the field. PUMP UP THE VOLUME ALREADY.....

Part of the problem with the PA is that the speakers are turned towards the field and no the stands. Volume is high enough. We can clearly hear the PA from our front porch.

Yeah, I sit on the far side of the field, and we could hear it great this year. I thought they had improved the system. Now I see it must just be a cockeyed speaker.
