Is It Windy Enough For You?

Featured Replies

It was a fight to keep our van straight driving home from Dayton yesterday. I couldn't imagine driving a tractor trailer in that wind. On 75 up by Union Centre Boulevard, a power line fell across the highway due to the wind. It ripped the hood off a Prius and got wrapped up in the rear axle of a semi causing it to lock up. Luckily nothing serious, but it did shut down the highway briefly.

Brutal winds blew over my garbage cans and shook my deck furniture but never moved them. Lost power for about 2 seconds. Just enough to make me have to reset every clock in the house.

Some may see the cold temps and high winds again next weekend.

Here's what I was talking about. Not only cold but that 4 letter word. ;) :thumb:

In the papa household, i'm apparently the only resident with this skill.

El Niño/winter jet steam fighting back?

Yuck! I sure am ready for warm weather. I was so hoping your future weather forecast would not occur. However, thanks for the heads up for the week.

Since Prince is notorious for making sure his songs aren't on YouTube, I can't post a link, but his tune "Sometimes It Snows In April" seems appropriate here.

Booked a cabin at a lake in southern Ohio last week since the weather had been nice. We will be there Friday and Saturday, leaving on Sunday. It's supposed to snow Friday night. :ohbrother:

Some parts of Florida could see lows Friday night around the mid 40's.

That's up around the Tallahassee and Gainesville. I think FTN vacations down around me.

Lows are only supposed to be in the upper 50's here, Saturday and Sunday morning. The highs are supposed to 81 be on Friday, 76 Saturday, and back to 81 on Sunday.

For reference, it's 58 in Talley this morning, 65 here, 72 in Miami.

After the rain on Saturday, it's been absolutely gorgeous, in the TBA.

I don't need this negativity in my life.

I'm willing to risk it... Lol
