Open Job: Scott

Me too...the normal Asst coaches names will come up but I think this may cause a head coach to leave their current school.

I think a HC from Ohio gets the job.

AD is awful & in over his head. He's the one who should be job hunting, not Carr

Several times buses were not scheduled & players had to end up driving to away games.

If this is the case surprising it hasn't been mentioned before.

Pendleton County & Dixie game at NKU

Can't remember the other one off the top of my head and that's just boys games.

Failed to get coverage for clock a few times when regular clock guy was not there. Had to get someone from stands to cover

It's his first year as AD. Calling him terrible is harsh. I'm sure there is a learning curve but he has been a good leader in an a lot more important role than a high school in the past. So I'm confident he will catch on.

NCH?

That is my choice.

Shannon Minor

We will see, his last stint in a Kenton County school didnt go very well, not because of him though.

Shannon Minor to Scott would be an awesome hire for both parties. NCH is a tough place to work.

Anyone think Kevin Listerman might apply? It's been a bit rough for Highlands basketball lately

This job isn't even listed anywhere yet so I think the thread shouldn't read "open job"

Yes...not sure he would want to leave Newport for that job, though.

I want to say his wife is in the Kenton Co school system, as well as his younger son, so there might be some appeal to the opening if there is also a teaching opening.

Wife works for Newport and I believe the youngest goes to Newport also.

Nothing against him, great guy....his intensity level may be higher than even Carr's....I would not see this being anything different in terms of "non Kid Glove" treatment.

Agree with BB in his comment. If you thought Brad was too intense, you need to look elsewhere if you're considering Minor.

Maybe they'll pass out orange slices and participation trophies after practices in Taylor Mill.
