I've always said, they should play the video and sound of the famous cannon going off after touchdowns.

I don't like Highlands field and it has nothing to do with a dislike for the Birds. Still haven't been to new Campbell Co so can comment there. I do like what they have going on at scott. I enjoy covcath as well. SK is nice and definitely appreciate the older Dayton style field.

This. I've only been there a few times, but what a great atmosphere.

Scott, top to bottom, is definitely one of the nicest facilities I've been to over the years.

 

SK, Ryle, Campbell, and Dixie are up there as well.

 

Interested to see what type of changes/updates they do to Holmes when the new field turf is installed.

Scott only has one concession stand you miss half the game waiting in line. Campbell County is the same way.

Only stadium i haven't seen a varsity football game at recently is Ryle. I've been there many times for track meets, scrimmages, and watched the fall sports showcase they used to do. Anyone that's been, what do you think?

Agreed, Ryle needs to update their concourse area and it would be perfect. Ive heard that plans are in the works for that to possible happen when they replace the turf at Ryle.

Both Newport and Bellevue are among my favorites. Being able to see the city skyline as someone scores a TD is pretty amazing.

Most of the big schools have great stadiums, but what about smaller schools. Newport, Beechwood, Walton Verona. Where do some of those schools rank?

 

While I love the historicity of Newport's stadium, I'm not a big fan of it practically. Too me, with the lights in front of the bleachers it makes the seating area too dark. The light poles block the view of certain parts of the field, too. And it seems like you are too far away from the action in the bleachers. It isn't a bad place by any means, but there are several small schools in northern Kentucky who's facilities I like better.
