March 15, 201610 yr There is not one person that can and I think that is what is frustrating on all sides. Many people in this country have fallen for the "win at all costs" mentality. Politics has become sports. Maybe politics is some people's sports. For example, I love the NFL and the Bengals. I am not sure at times whether I like the Bengals more or hate the Steelers more. Silly, yes, but real in my mind at times. I think there is that same dislike, hate, whatever you call it in politics. The problem is that sports is entertainment, but politics affect our lives in many ways and it has turned into entertainment and big business for the media. To answer your question, no one under these circumstances. Until divergent thinkers in a populous can compromise, we won't have unification.
March 15, 201610 yr The Old Entitled Republicans are for Hillary vs Trump because they know she will still protect their evil stealing ways. Things will be no better if she wins. It will be the same. Only way to get better is get someone fresh like Trump.

Only way to get better is get someone fresh like Trump. HRC is in the same establishment as the republicans only difference is her money comes from other pockets. Anyone that's struggling financially who thinks HRC and her group will help them out will be disappointed. The truth is the establishment has our poor people right were they want them. Koch brothers, George Soros there really the ones holding American back. Edited March 15, 201610 yr by TexasRanger add text
March 15, 201610 yr The GOP has NO SHOT at defeating Hillary if they alienate Trump's base. Trump's base equals about 15% of the total electorate.
March 15, 201610 yr The GOP has NO SHOT at defeating Hillary if they alienate Trump's base. Does anyone really believe that if Cruz ends up with more delegates than Trump that "Trump's base" will actually support him?
March 15, 201610 yr Author Does anyone really believe that if Cruz ends up with more delegates than Trump that "Trump's base" will actually support him? What you will find out is they will support anyone before Hillary or Bernie. Screenshot this.
March 15, 201610 yr Trump's base equals about 15% of the total electorate. But that is about 50% of the total electorate that actually VOTES!
March 15, 201610 yr What you will find out is they will support anyone before Hillary or Bernie. Screenshot this. All these pseudo-guarantees you make are going to be hysterical if Hillary wins come November.
March 15, 201610 yr No one from either major party has a shot at unifying the country. Really doubt if anyone can.
March 15, 201610 yr Author She may. But that still does not change the fact that they wont support either of the two D's. The D's have to many voters that dont have a card.
March 15, 201610 yr No one from either major party has a shot at unifying the country. Really doubt if anyone can. This. My fear is that it will take a cataclysmic disaster or terrorist action to do so. See 2001, September 11th. Much of the country was behind George W. Bush after his speech. But that was short-lived, for a plethora of reasons.
