Ram
You know who was a great Kentuckian and is currently buried in Lexington? Jim Varney. JVHS! It's settled then, "The Varney Vols". Orange and white it is.

gchs_uk9
Will this new school have a synthetic turf football field? I am seriously doubting that they have outside facilities completed for the opening as well... I'm guessing they eventually will since turf was put down at all the other Fayette County public schools, but like @Johnny_Utah said, it might not be there opening day. thehotsnakes
Turf take about 4 to 6 weeks from beginning to end. Really? I feel like I remember seeing some places building their new fields, and they started the turf early in the year and got it done around August. Maybe I'm just losing my mind. It could depend on what you are working with to start with. If you are putting turf where a field already was or if you are building a facility from scratch might require different time tables. A lot more site prep involved if there isn't already a field in place.
