March 14, 201610 yr So Trump is allowed to have supporters stump and campaign for him, but none of the other nominees are? Mitt Romney is not stumping for Kasich, he's a sore loser campaigning against Trump personally. He thought he would come charging into the Republican Convention and save the GOP from a lost campaign after the primaries votes have settled, he just didn't count on Trump to get this much support from the Silent Majority Republicans and the Reagan Democrats who don't trust Hillary and don't want to vote for a Socialist. Oh, yes, Mr. Romney intended to be everyone's hero. Instead, he has just become a vindictive loser, whose chance came and went. And that is a sad fact for someone with so much promise who just couldn't close the deal.
March 15, 201610 yr Trump is a simple New Yorker. Loud, confident, polically incorrect. His candidency bothers both established parties. That should explain a lot. Remember Teddy Roosevelt and his Bull Moose run that upset the establishment. He he was shot during this run. It it seems some think that violence is acceptable - very concerning.
March 15, 201610 yr Of all the candidates, which are the most qualified based on a normal job description? Kasich and Christie. Both have lead government. Neither will be elected. In a normal cycle, Kasich would ride his Reaganesque campaign into the white house.
March 18, 201610 yr Saw where The Don's son received a death threat if Don didn't drop out. Person that sent it is a pathetic excuse for a human being.
March 18, 201610 yr To brag about those numbers is a little foolish from the Trump camp when those numbers are readily available. Legal Mexicans? You mean American citizens, right. Many states don't require an ID to vote so anyone can pretty much vote, illegal or American citizens.
March 18, 201610 yr At the present time, the Republicans have a majority in the House and Senate. Just need to make sure it stays that way. Unless your candidate Trump can close the 27-point female-vote gap with Hillary, it's going to be a real long night for the GOP in November. As a basis of comparison, Obama was plus 11 with female voters vs. Romney in '12, but Obama was minus 7 in attracting male voters. Yet Obama still won the Electoral College handily. Looks to me like Trump's goosed-up turnout will come nowhere near making up for his 27-point deficit with female voters.

He received more total votes than Clinton in Ohio, even though he lost to a very popular Governor, which is not a good sign for Hillary. I believe the Democratic Powers are getting very worried about being able to defeat Trump. I expect them to get very nasty very soon.
March 18, 201610 yr Many states don't require an ID to vote so anyone can pretty much vote, illegal or American citizens. In Kentucky there is a ledger you must sign. If you go in and vote you have to be on that ledger and then sign your name. At least that's how they do it down here in the country. I've never had to show ID, but have always had to sign my name. Are other states like this? How could you get illegals a vote if they aren't on the ledger?

I believe the Democratic Powers are getting very worried about being able to defeat Trump. I expect them to get very nasty very soon. The only people about to get nasty are Mitch McConnell and his Republican establishment cronies. I don't think any Dem fears running against Trump in November with Donald's 27-point gap among female voters. Such might even put states like Georgia and Arizona in play for the Dems in November.

Mitch and his Gang might be the only way to stop him. If the Dems underestimate him like the GOP did, who knows what may happen.
March 18, 201610 yr I don't think the constitution says anything about how a political party chooses ita nominee. Some of the original drafts may have but fortunately they got it right.

Bernie says he still has a path to win. Of course he's spent his life living in La La land.
March 19, 201610 yr Mitch and his Gang might be the only way to stop him. If the Dems underestimate him like the GOP did, who knows what may happen. Mitch and his gang, are projected to spend............200,000,000.00 to stop Trump. Gezzzz
