Like. My son loves sports. Still young enough to believe everything I say. He's very impressional. Right now Ben Weyer is his hero.

Good one to have.

What is she going to be like when he gets to the NBA. He is going to get there in her mind anyway.

Hopefully something will change

My comment was directed at what others had said in the thread, I did not see where anyone mentioned that it was any of the players.

I had also checked twitter earlier, looks like there might be some uncomfortable moments during the end of season meetings.

Can you please explain for those of us who DO NOT tweet?

I hate to be a Debbie Downer but this needs to be said, IMO.

To the mom sitting court side last night who I could see from across the court talking trash to the Colonel Crazies and flipping them off after the game - please stop. You are an embarrassment to the NCC community. I can't believe Ronny Dawn puts up with those antics from a parent. It is shameful for a grown woman to act that way towards high school kids.

Glad you posted this because I was about to. Some parents need to grow up! The crazies are fun to watch I can't believe a parent would go over and argue with them show some class the lady made NewCath look like they had no class.

Reported in a thread some time ago that CCH players were not to be using Twitter during the season, not sure if it was just basketball related or a complete ban.

Tweets were being sent to NCC player(s) the last couple of days, if the coach found out I was saying that said players would be having an uncomfortable meeting with the coach.

It has since been reported that this was a fake account set up as a joke, making all of this a moot point. (See post #159)

Did I complain Blueboy. I only stated what might have been and was very gracious and happy for New Cath's victory. I guarantee during the game you were thinking if only we had those guys. The only difference is that I expressed what I thought on here. You know that you have thought what might have been in your mind a thousand times. Again, happy for New Cath.....WIN STATE!!!!

W1, that is the difference-you are stating a bunch of ands and ifs about your team who wasn't even in the game...nobody on CCH is "expressing" who was injured. The thread should be about NCC's victory...not about who wasn't on the court. CCH played most of the 2nd half of the year without Heppler and it was mentioned barely at all during that span as it was next man up. Let's just agree on we both wish NCC well at state-they were the better team last night and deserve the crown this year.

Congrats to the Breds and good luck at State.

Let me add a little clarification as I was sitting 3 chairs over from her. She did not go over and argue with them. She flipped a hand gesture during an intense moment of the game. The Crazies responded accordingly. BB&T official did walk over and ask her to keep those gestures to herself. I do not know her history but she let the intensity of the game get the best of her.

It came from more than one tweet, so it wasn't just one account.

Every school has all east one fan like that and in most cases there are several. If you don't think you school does then maybe you are that person haha. Don't let one person take away.anything from the Breds amazing play. Best of luck in Lexington boys!!

For those of us that weren't at the game, can someone clarify or supplement what AFI says. Was the conflict between her and the crazies limited to one Bird flip and the crazies response to that? I obviously have no idea who she is, and I'm not making excuses, I just want to put this all in context. Thanks.

NCC definitely was the better team that night and IMO was the better team all year even though they lost to them earlier, Weyer is by far the best player in the region and top 5 in the state and it showed on that night. As someone said earlier someone POKED THE BEAR, they just poked the wrong bear. Wish NCC all the best in the SWEET SIXTEEN.

CovCath future is very bright and no doubt will be back next year and years to come.

Yeah I would like to know too! I also wasnt at the game but have a good idea who you are talking about. With the NCC AD and Principle there, I wont be surprised if this issue gets addressed quickly. Mr Huther is no nonsense!

Missed word

Thought I saw it all but I guess even I missed a bunch of action. Shame on me for paying attention to the action on the floor.
