Wait a minute, there were "tweets"? I thought that Ruthsatz put the clamps on that? I to have heard there was stuff said and it reminded me so much of what happens during the football season and lo and behold we see the same result.

Nice pot shot - classic passive aggressive bull sugar. I find it extremely hard to believe Ruthsatz would allow anything like that.

For the record, the result was not the same, because Highlands was nowhere to be found last night.

Let's see if the Birds get within 50 next year.

Congrats to Coach Dawn, AD Detzel, Jimmy Pangallo, Coach Meyer and all the BRED family & hoopsters that continued working so hard for this moment. Good luck in the Sweet 16 and thank you for all you do. Not just for NCC - but for all of Campbell County hoopsters you cross paths with. You are always so gracious with your time and talents and many, many of us say thank you - appreciate your passion for the game, friends and family.

Congratulations to NCC. Good luck in Lexington.

JOAT - I'll rephrase part of my earlier statement, because the fact is, I have no idea whether or not someone tweeted, nor do I have the time or desire to investigate. However, I find it unlikely that a CCH player would have done so before the game.

CCH lost a hard fought game to an opponent that was simply better and deserving of the region crown. I wasn't at the game, but it's my understanding, based on listening to it and reading the accounts on BGP, that both teams exhibited class. My guess is that when your son was injured at CCH, you and he were afforded the same class while he was being examined.

Be happy for Ben Weyer and for the other kids you know on that team - they deserved to win.

If you meant to direct your comments at me (Yellow Card)...

I do think he had a dominant performance tonight, this does nothing to change my opinion of his performance in Friday nights contest.... one game has nothing to do with the other.

While i feel he was dominant tonight, as mentioned above, I feel Hall was the difference maker for the Breds.

It was in regard to your comments about the Cooper game. Sometimes it gets confusing differentiating between people's screen names and careers I envision them having success.

If this was a NewCath fan then......As a NewCath School Board member, I would like to apologize to everyone for what happened, this is not what we want out of our supporters.

You know, as well as I, who was being the embarrassment. You've got 2 more years and then she's gone. You can handle it lol

I do not believe they are saying it was the CCH players sending the tweets.

It's not hard to check. I did see one player tweeting at Ben Weyer. Kid is a reserve on the team. Poked the bear.

My comment was directed at what others had said in the thread, I did not see where anyone mentioned that it was any of the players.

I had also checked twitter earlier, looks like there might be some uncomfortable moments during the end of season meetings.

That was a fake account set up by one of his classmates. All just joking around.

What is she going to be like when he gets to the NBA. He is going to get there in her mind anyway.

Didnt/doesn't bother me. Immature? Maybe. But I am as un-PC as it gets. Im not a gamer either. The only reason I was there was BC my son wanted to go and both his granpas thought itd be too late on a school night. Glad I went no doubt. Loved watching the game and myb sons reaction to every single big play by both teams. I thought he was going to ask me to shoot hoops until midnight.

I have fond memories of being a grade-schooler and JR high punk attending the 9th region tourneys. Those guys were heroes when I was a youngster.

Like. My son loves sports. Still young enough to believe everything I say. He's very impressional. Right now Ben Weyer is his hero.
