Bernie to Hillary: "Excuse Me, I'm Talking."

Featured Replies

Following the Democratic presidential debate in Flint, Michigan, on Sunday night, Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-VT) presidential campaign defended a comment made by the senator when Hillary Clinton attempted to interject while he was responding.

"I think Bernie was being himself, I think he’s a real person," Tad Devine, a top strategist with the Sanders campaign, told Buzzfeed News. "Some people may not like the way he wags his finger. That’s who he is. But we’re not going to try to change anything about him. Because I’ll tell you, the thing that’s connecting with him is his honesty, his authenticity, and the fact that he his who he is."

During a discussion on the auto industry, Clinton started to interject while Sanders was speaking.

"Excuse me, I'm talking," Sanders told Clinton. "I will tell my story and you tell yours."

Sanders Camp Defends 'Excuse Me, I'm Talking' Moment During Debate

Bernie getting a little testy last night... Nothing that the Clinton campaign should be getting their genitals in an uproar over, IMO.

The only people "offended" by that were the mouthpieces of the HRC campaign.

Hardly worth mentioning given the tone and below-the-belt subject matter dominating the GOP debate.

Did he also say that if you are white you don't know what it's like to live in that ghetto or be poor?

He did and I cringed when he said it. To be fair I think he was trying to describe white privilege but did so very poorly. What he said could definitely be considered racist IMO but I don't think that's how he meant it. That being said, I'm white and I guess black voters will have decide if they think it was.

I didn't watch the debate, but saw he said this on social media. I'd think that definitely would have been more of a sound bite.

Or he could have said, "unless your white and 40 and never had a job because your lazy you could never be like me".

Bernie better watch how he talks to the queen. Doesn't he know she's the entitled one?

Nothing at all.

BUT...

A CNN host mentioned last night that Trump may want to take notice of how that could be perceived in a one on one match with HRC. Not everybody in the nation views Mrs. Clinton as BGPers.

Perhaps I made this up, but I feel I can accurately comment on this since I'm in the youngest 1% of this site :D .

As people tend to get older, do they not begin to just say how they feel? I've watched my grandparents lose their filter as they age[d], as well as some basketball coaches who are 60+ (not that that is considered old! :) ). I think Bernie interrupting HRC with this comment could just be his age showing.

Just a thought.

Appears the Afro American population in Michigan loved the Bern's racist crapola . Big upset for the old guy .
