I just don't see that happening this year to the Red Colonels. Not on the ground , I see Dixie STUFFING the run and making the birds pass the ball this year . Should be a close game to the end and fun to watch !:thumb:

What are Dixies strong points this year? Do you feel this years squad is better than last years. I think the overall opinion of HHS is they are much improved from last year. HHS won by 5 TDs last year, Do you think it will be closer this year. If so tell us why.

Your right q11 , we are preatty small up front .Not much size to match-up with them Beef Birds . Will just stay at home and wait for the new field to get done.

I thought I heard HHS line was small, they have been fairly small the past few seasons.

Highlands's line isn't small, and I agree with DMZ76- 45-14.

since we have no feedback from Dixie fans ( Sandman must be out of town) I will just go by what I saw last year and loosely on this years info on the scrimmages. HHS by 5TDs.

Not small this year. Smallest lineman is at 220 plus. Another at 230. One at 240. Two at 260. More than decent size and very strong and quick.

As I understand it Dixie is greatly improved from when we played them last year. They started out playing a lot of seniors and after a few games Spritz replaced several seniors with sophomores and juniors. They will be returning a lot of starters like the Birds. Personally, and I hate agreeing with that old man Guru, but if Dixie brings their A game (and I'm betting they will because Spritz would love to beat us this year), it could be a close game.

That 's what you should go off of scrimmages and last year is even better . Since we only run 5 or 6 plays on " O" and looking at 10 or 11 D-line men , with alot of other sub's on "D" . Thats how you should look at us , also we do remember the score last year . Very well !:madman:

I'm hoping for a close game but its not looking too good Highlands by ALOT

I hate to say it but I think Birds by 3TD's at a minimum, 49-14

Birds 49 - 15, jv squad palys the whole 4th

Thats what I wanted. But why does a Birds fans give us the scoop on Dixie? You're right Spritz would love to beat the Birds. If Dixie figures out a way to get out of the gate this year, this game could be closer than last. On a side note I heard that Dixie did not run 2 adays this year. Can anyone confirm?

They had a long practice in the early moring . Weights , running and walk-throughs in the evening . There just now aloud in the school full time because of all the work going on . Good news for tomorrow , First Practice on the NEW Field !!!:D Get Fired up DIXIE !!!:fight:

My prediction 63-7. Don't laugh now at that prediction. Wait until we see a final. Highlands likes to put up points and if they scored that many against Male, they'll put up a bunch against a team with less speed.

I think it's very possible that Dixie only scores 7 but I don't see 63 against a decent Dixie defense. I'll let the Dixie fans laugh at the prediction, not me.

Although Dixie may have more size, Highlands always comes with great speed, which the colonels may have trouble handling. Mueller will get those numbers up as high as he can,so we should see plenty of scores. Highlands 53-14

I think this one will be a lot closer than most people think.
