Pendleton has beaten Campbell, Paris and Mason in the last few weeks, and they don't even get a mention? If his coaches and teammates let best player in the tournament Dontaie Allen do his thing, they could be the ones cutting down the nets.

I think they just got mentioned...

I just have a feeling that it is Mason Co.

We shall see.

Wow! Somebody got an agenda? Always heard it was a Team game, and within that concept real stars shine.

Seems like they have let him do his thing all year have they not? Young man has had a successful season.

A - to say he is the best player in the tournament is a little far fetched at this point

B - They have potential to win it along with 6 other teams, but their wins against Paris and Mason weren't necessarily big wins with the circumstances that were in play during those games

Still can't seem to grasp how a team beats a team 3 times and is ranked behind that team.

10TH REGION

1. Campbell County 72.6

2. Montgomery County 70.8

3. Paris 70.0

4. Mason County 66.3

5. Scott 65.3

6. Augusta 64.5

7. Pendleton County 61.4

8. Harrison County 57.1

No agenda. I've seen them play in person a few times, have relied on statistics and video from other games. It has appeared to me that when Dontaie is not involved, particularly when he was out for those few games, Pendleton was a much different team and struggled mightily to score. It is a team game, and IMO Dontaie is outstanding and is not a selfish player by any stretch in the games I've seen.

Algorithms, Computers don't know who played, when they played etc. Most use numbers. Montgomery has Quality wins over Scott Co, Pendelton, Mason and Lawerence Co. Where as Paris has 3 losses to those teams. If you look at all the common opponents between the two teams, Montgomery fairs better. .8 is a coin flip, no worries, it's why they play the games!

HOMER!! lol. There is no wrong answer. You could make an argument for every team except Harrison.

The head says Campbell Co. The heart says Augusta Panthers. No fun to be logical, evaluate head to head matchups, location of tournament, and previous regional experience. Lot more fun riding in the River to Rupp caravan. Augusta all the way!

To my paris fan friends:

Paris is clearly better than moco. They have beaten them 3 times. Home, away and neutral floor. If you don't think thats the better team, your a serious homer.

Paris and Campbell are really tough matchups for moco. It's hard to beat a team 3 times, I picked moco because a 4th loss to Paris would be extremely hard to pull off by paris.

Will home court advantage help MoCo? I believe it will.

An extreme advantage.

IMO...This is truly a wide open 10th Region tournament. Maybe the REFs will decide who they want! :isurrender:

If any player on any team gets 20 shots a game they should averages 20pts. Its a 1-man show and it takes team effort to win big games. He's good but again if in another team with other players that can do the same how good would he be????? It's more than scoring in basketball

Dontaie averages 16 field goal attempts per game & hits 49% of those attempts. He's also a 42% shooter from beyond the arc and averages 9.4 rebounds per game. I don't know his assist numbers, but he's very gifted at creating shots for others. Defensively, he's as versatile as they come in the 10th Region, capable of guarding the opposing team's point guard or center.

He's one of the best all-around players in the 10th Region, and is just a freshman. He would be a star on any team in the 10th Region.
