Dontaie averages 16 field goal attempts per game & hits 49% of those attempts. He's also a 42% shooter from beyond the arc and averages 9.4 rebounds per game. I don't know his assist numbers, but he's very gifted at creating shots for others. Defensively, he's as versatile as they come in the 10th Region, capable of guarding the opposing team's point guard or center.

He's one of the best all-around players in the 10th Region, and is just a freshman. He would be a star on any team in the 10th Region.

Dontaie averages a shade over 2 assists a game. However if you actually watch PC play, you'd see its generally the second pass after Dontaie passes that points are scored on. Some things don't show up in a stat sheet.

IMO...This is truly a wide open 10th Region tournament. Maybe the REFs will decide who they want! :isurrender:

Maybe you can start with a double digit advantage at the tip so you can blow that one and blame the refs. Every game is not the refs!!! They only pick the best of the best for region games so Mason County's "curse of the stripes" won't cost them this game.

So your predicting winner strictly off odds becuz eyes say Paris but that's why we pay admission to watch things play out.

To my paris fan friends:

Paris is clearly better than moco. They have beaten them 3 times. Home, away and neutral floor. If you don't think thats the better team, your a serious homer.

Paris and Campbell are really tough matchups for moco. It's hard to beat a team 3 times, I picked moco because a 4th loss to Paris would be extremely hard to pull off by paris.

Now you have Cantrell, Litkenhous, and Maher rankings. Makes picking easier or stirs the pot!

Could not agree more, in fact he might be best freshman these eyes have ever seen in 10th. Belcher has done an awesome job adding to this young man's development. Wildcats draw their energy from his game, and not watching him. Last Mason game his 1st half was not him. He looked tired, did not aggressively work and missed all but maybe 2 of maybe 12 shots. Entire PC lucky to be only down by 10. In the 2nd half he worked his tail off, penetrated, scored around 20 and Wildcat team drew his energy to pull away by 17. Showed what he is capable of doing when Mason did not have Pig to challenge. MoCo does not have a clamp down guard like Pig, so Wildcats with Allen's top effort could very well upset the favored Indians.
