Cheryl Tiegs upset with Sports Illustrated over Plus size Model

Featured Replies

I can see average everywhere I go so when I look at the SI Swimsuit I want to see the best the world has to offer. That larger girl is certainly pretty though

I agree with the first part of your statement, but I would not call her a"larger girl". I guess what I call a larger person and some other people call a larger person are two different opinions. But i do see that your name is- TOOTHPICK. lol

Misspelled word

Interesting that Cheryl Tiegs says that this cover promotes an unhealthy lifestyle. How about the unhealthy anorexic/bulimic lifestyle that the uber skinny models promote---especially to our pre-teen/teen girls?

I would more or less agree with you, poorly worded on my part. Large for supermodels yes but average sized otherwise.

Having been a member of this site since 2001, I have got to meet a great many members in person and I guarantee you that they get a laugh out of the plus size me having the name ToothPick, but fat guys can wish to be skinny. Actually back 2001 I was a lot smaller but I did not choose to go Cheryl's way

Cheryl Tiegs needs to shut her pie hole.

No, LA, she needs to open it........for more pie.

But i do see that your name is- TOOTHPICK. lol

I almost spit out my coffee!!!

Love me some and many curves....I'm always commenting to Mrs. C1 when we watch TV how unrealistic the current ideal body image gals need to eat more than a few burgers and ribs...

And BTW yes I think Ms. Graham is beautiful, curves and all!!!

I'm just going to be honest here. I'd be all over the plus sized cover lady. All over it.

Was unlucky enough to get the 'fat girl' cover.

I realize that is real un-PC, but that is what you think when you look at it.

I'm not a fan of political correctness, so I got a chuckle out of this.

Barbie now comes with kankles. Is this pic on here of Grahm the cover pic? Thought it was a bit different?

No it's not the cover. There were 2 or 3 different covers this year...Graham, Rousey (in body paint) and a blonde using her arm as the top of her bikini.

There is a difference between healthy and big and 'fat'. But stringish bikini does not do well for her. She is pretty and probably easier to look at when not in an undersized string bikini.

She's the real MVP here...

Graham is a pretty woman. Also, I like the fact she promotes an organization called Healthy at Any Size (or something like that). Being a father of a daughter, I am always more concerned with my daughter's health in general than I ever would have cared what clothing size she wore. I appreciate a woman who is physically fit, and always encouraged the kids to exercise... and just being skinny doesn't mean one is fit. Having said that...I will take all those cast-off supermodels (if I can talk Mrs. doomer into it).
